Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are free, short walks that take place all over Cornwall and across England.  Our walk takes place at Newquay Zoo every Friday morning, meeting at 09.45 outside the main entrance.

The Royal Voluntary Services are designed to help those who live with dementia to keep up the lifestyle they enjoy for as long as possible, and to offer some comfort and support when they’re facing unfamiliar or difficult situations.

Music Can is a resource to help make music a part of personalised care for people living with dementia.  It helps people connect to the music they want, in the way they want.  The website contains a directory of services that are face to face and online.

Support for Young Carers to self-manage caring responsibilities, providing information, advice and guidance over the phone and working with schools. They also provide direct 1-1 work with Young Carers and Young Adult Carers as well as offering activities on a regular basis and during the school holidays.

Hearts Together is a Hospital Hotel near to Derriford Hospital, The Nuffield Hospital and the Hyperbaric Treatment Centre in Plymouth.  They have reduced rate accommodation for patients, carers, friends and relatives and can arrange overnight emergency stays where patients/relatives are admitted to hospital during the night.

Charity offering a range of free services that give family carers the opportunity to understand more about dementia. Online courses to help carers understand their rights and benefits, looking after themselves, memory changes and strategies to help.
