This charity was formed by a group of parents of children with additional needs to support families to access activities during the school holidays.  Every child or young person registered with CAAP has a disability or additional need that impacts on their ability to attend mainstream holiday activities. They typically cannot play in their own communities because of safety issues and often spend school holidays indoors or in front of screens. School holidays are a time of great stress for families with disabled children with the lack of structure and this also impacts on siblings.
