Sense – Cornwall (Get Out There) GOT
For everyone living with complex disabilities. For everyone who is deafblind. Sense is here to help people communicate and experience the world.
They also offer:
- Practical support to families, including advice, short breaks and family events
- Provide information about communication
- Campaign for the rights of people with complex disabilities to take part in life.
Seeing Ear
A UK charity that provides books in electronic format suitable for changing to braille, speech, large print and other formats. The service is free to join and it is free to download books from the online service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Royal National Institute of blind people (RNIB)
Practical and emotional support for blind or partially sighted. Talking books, specialist education for children and young people. E-Learning for businesses
Reading Sight
They set out to enable people with blindness, sight loss and other print disabilities to access the public library service.
People with visual and / or print impairment can access alternative formats for free from their list of libraries.

Support young visually impaired people and their families. Mentoring, events, youth forums and parent support groups
