Safer Cornwall is a partnership of public, voluntary, community and private organisations who come together to do all that they can to make Cornwall's communities safer. They provide advice and links to organisations that support the following:
Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence, Alcohol, Drugs, Hate Crime, Safer Towns
Money and Pensions Service
Money Helper service proving free and impartial money and pensions guidance for people. Support to prioritise bills and payments and advice to avoid missing payments. Advice to help incomes go further as well as around redundancy and self-employed rights.
Limbless Association
The Limbless Association is a national, user-led charity that has been supporting amputees across the UK since 1983. The LA has excellent knowledge of the issues affecting amputees’ physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and aims to ensure that no amputee need cope alone.
Contact them for free, high-quality information, advice and support pre- and post-amputation – by phone, email and online. They also have a volunteer visitor service with peer support programme.
