The Lullaby Trust
The Lullaby Trust raises awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). It provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families. Support can be accessed through a helpline or email service.
Parenting Course
Online parenting courses available through Care and Support in Cornwall. Covers single parents, young parents and 'just for Dads', as well as support for all parents/carers.
Parent Carers Cornwall
PCC is the recognised parent carer forum for Cornwall. It is nationally funded to support families with children with SEND. They gather and share information about the services available locally.
PACT – Prison, Advice and Care Trust
National charity that provides support to prisoners, people with convictions and their families. They support people to make a fresh start, minimise the harm that can be caused by imprisonment to people who have committed offences, to families and communities.
Neurodevelopmental Assessment for Children (ASD, ADHD)
Although this does require professional input, we have included it here as the referral needs to be completed by a someone who knows the child/ young person best in a professional capacity. Whilst this can be their GP, it is often the school or another health / social care professional. Please note this form can be completed by your child's school along with Form C

Connects mums locally and across the UK. Parenting videos, ideas and blogs to help mums of all ages / single mums / children of all ages
Hope Programme – Volunteer Cornwall
HOPE is a 6 week course delivered online or face to face. Builds resilience, self-confidence and helps people to cope better emotionally, psychologically and practically. Women's wellbeing as well as mixed groups.
HOPE is a programme to help local people build confidence to self-manage their long-term health conditions. This could include:
- Physical health such as pain relief.
- Mental ill health issues such as anxiety, stress and depression.
- People returning to work after a long absence.
- Parents/carers of children with additional or complex needs.
Hearts Together – Hospital Hotel
Hearts Together is a Hospital Hotel near to Derriford Hospital, The Nuffield Hospital and the Hyperbaric Treatment Centre in Plymouth. They have reduced rate accommodation for patients, carers, friends and relatives and can arrange overnight emergency stays where patients/relatives are admitted to hospital during the night.
Family Matters – Active Plus
Support for Armed Forces and Veteran's families. They can support you to get back to work, business training as well as providing health and wellbeing advice. A Change Coach is assigned to each person / family to support 1-2-1.

Referral service for help with Family Support, Parenting Support and Targeted Youth Support. Resources for parents and professionals working alongside them.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Parent Referral
Specialist community child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) provide assessment, advice and treatment for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems. CAMHS also provide support and advice to their families or carers.
